About Carolina Family Services
Carolina Family Services began in Jennifer Brooks's living room in 2006. Today, we support children, adults, and families through office-based, school-based, community, and telehealth care.
Our story
Carolina Family Services was created to meet a need for quality, family-based community services in Upstate South Carolina. What began in Jennifer's living room has grown into an organization serving families across the region.
Growth changed our reach, not our purpose. We remain committed to care that respects the whole family, responds to real-life needs, and helps people move toward greater stability and connection.

How we show up
Our services are built around people, relationships, and the communities families call home.
We consider the relationships, routines, strengths, and circumstances surrounding each person—not only the problem that brought them through the door.
Care may happen in our offices, at participating schools, in the home or community, or through telehealth when appropriate.
Our Intake team helps families and referral partners understand eligibility, coverage, and what happens next.
