Outpatient Counseling

Our team of qualified mental health providers can provide counseling services to children, adolescents, and their families in both Greenville and Spartanburg. We can provide both individual and family therapy services to address a wide variety of behavioral, emotional, and relational problems that children and families may face.

Psychiatric Services

Carolina Family Services has two board certified psychiatrists on staff who are here to provide psychiatric assessments and medication management services to children and adolescents that receive our outpatient or in home services.

In Home Services (Rehabilitative Behavioral Health Service)

Our RBHS staff are able to provide families with the help they need to strengthen their relationships, educate and to assure safety in their homes by providing behavioral modification services, family support services, and Psychosocial Rehabilitative Services. Carolina Awesome Steps (Early Intervention)

Carolina Awesome Steps serves children birth to six years old who are at risk for a developmental delay. The Early Interventionists from Carolina Awesome Steps conduct home visits, treatment planning, referrals, and give parental support. The program focuses on improving children’s cognitive development, gross and fine motor skills, communication skills, emotional and social skills, adaptive and self-help skills, as well as other issues concerning to the parents.

Alternatives for Families: a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (AF-CBT) is a trauma-informed, evidence-based treatment (EBT) designed to improve the relationship between children and caregivers in families involved in arguments, frequent conflict, physical force/discipline, child physical abuse, or child behavior problems.
