Have time on a weekday to support our team in office? Our team of administrative volunteers will assist our management staff, clinical team, and patients by tending to ongoing administrative duties and projects. We provide trainings for our volunteers in order to become an essential member of our team! Tasks will depend on the needs of our office but may include front desk/receptionist coverage, filing paperwork, scanning and uploading records, interpretation support, or assist on any special projects.
We offer opportunities to students enrolled in an academic program needing to complete internships, clinical rotations, or fieldwork experiences. Please note that these opportunities require an agreement/contract to be established between CFS and the hosting program/university.
We host several fundraising events throughout the year and always looking to add enthusiastic volunteers to our event and outreach team! Our event and outreach volunteers are encouraged to provide a time commitment of at least 3 hours for events. Some tasks may include event set-up/clean-up, assist with special event activities, collecting/organizing donations, and attending pre-event briefing meetings.
If you love working with your hands and have experience with hand tools, join our volunteer maintenance team! Our maintenance volunteers are encouraged to provide monthly commitment of 4 hours on any weekday. Some tasks include general handyman tasks, trash removal, special cleaning projects, upkeep of grounds and facilities.
